Yesterday I had some very nice company over. Heather and her two great children. It was the first time our kids played together and they were ALL very good.
The kids played Wii and Heather and I sat and chatted mostly cause I can be a little talkative! (I use the word, "little" loosley! LOL) There were some tatting things I was having trouble with and she showed me how to do several different things and I am excited to try them out now.
I hope I don't forget anything she showed me. It is so nice to be able to see something being done. I am more visual to learn. It takes longer for me by reading how to do it.
I had such a good time yesterday. It's been awhile. My yearning to learn to tat has led me to a very special friend that I know I will have for a very long time! I have a true belief that everything happens for a reason and people are put into your life to teach, to learn from, to help you through things and sometimes we will just never know why. I am glad we became friends.

There was a write up in our towns paper about my oldest son, Nick. He has won a very important award from his college, Lock Haven University. I am so proud of him. Here is the clipping but you can't read the actual article part. It is just the center part.

WOW thanks so much for all the wonderful things you said about me :D I am so glad to have found you as well, if you wouldnt have bought my book and I wouldnt have got so super excited that you lived so close :D You are right things happen for a reason. The kids had such a great time and Shannan just couldnt stop talking about the chips and banana runts LOL
I cant wait for the next tat chat we need to get pictures together though ;)
